Chrissi Johnsons Vice President for Federal Policy and External Affairs at Quicken Loans. In this role, she coordinates the Quicken Loans and the Family of Companies’ position on mission-critical public policy issues covering a broad spectrum of topics, including regulatory reform, housing finance, fintech innovation, data privacy, and access to housing and consumer protection. In this capacity, Chrissi leads all third-party stakeholder outreach efforts, including trade associations, consumer advocacy and civil rights groups, think tanks, market peers, and Washington, D.C. financial beat reporters. She also develops and executes strategic plans to advocate for these critical policy issues, including policymaker messaging, third-party coalitions, and other tactics.
Before joining Quicken Loans, Chrissi served as Chief of Staff of the Division of External Affairs at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Prior to the CFPB Chrissi was Director of Scheduling for Elizabeth Warren’s Senate campaign in Massachusetts, and also worked with Senator Al Franken, the Democratic National Committee, and President Barack Obama’s 2008 Presidential campaign in Missouri.
Chrissi earned bachelor’s degrees in Public Relations and Spanish from University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and also completed graduate studies in Counseling and Student Development at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa.
